Fair question:  What if this had been Houston Texans’ quarterback Matt Schaub instead of running back Ryan Moats?

    Every time I begin to think that people of different races are making it work, this happens. It is truly amazing. A close friend of mine, a former Air Force Cadet, entrepreneur, businessman, former NFL player, admitted to me that he didn’t drive through certain parts of HIS country with his white wife for fear of retaliation. Amazing. One day while walking our dogs together, and my little children, he tried to convince me that his fear was justified, by relaying that he routinely was asked by white people in our shared neighborhood whose dog he was walking. They assumed that he was “hired help.” Amazing. I guess my friend was justified. Amazingly insane.
