Not so much. At least at the Hillsborough, NC event I visited last week. I did see exactly two brown faces in various media, but these events seem to have had 99.9 % white attendance. The speakers were uniformly banal; taxes are bad, taxes are bad, and by the way, taxes are really bad. So I surmise that people of color must like paying taxes. Or perhaps this whole tea party thing was carefully orchestrated right wing fearmongering.
They are losing their scapegoats and it terrifies them.
