No matter how well its described, I can never make you know its taste, until you do.

Until you Know.

What does that mean…to Know?

If you would pierce darkness with the light of Knowledge you must peer through binoculars of Understanding.
.

“What does it mean to know? It is the power of understanding borne of observation, evidence and experience.”    ~ Jesse Duplantes

.

Three lenses that cornerstone knowledge; lenses through which we focus our sensory inputs.

Observation.   Evidence.   Experience.

These lenses seek the reality of truth, coming into focus upon the chief cornerstone of Perception.

Is your focus correct?
Do you hear dialect and dismiss the wisdom of the words?
Do you even listen that long?

Is your focus correct?
Do you know that the tongue map is a myth? There is at least one other taste for which there isn’t an English word.

Our Japanese brethren call it Umami, that savory taste of stew, chicken or Bar-B-Que.

Is your focus correct?
The red ball rolled.

Really?
How long? How fast?

Why? On its own?

To where? From where?

How far? Will it roll again?

How big is it?
Of what is it made?

Did it leave a trail?
Did it cause any damage?

When did it stop? Why?

Red? Red like…what?

When our lenses of Observation, Evidence and Experience have focused enough times we create a knowledge base. A personal reality.

Perceptual Reality.

Reality is a lot like chocolate and our realities vary only because of our Perceptions
