Inside from the Inside

My ex senator, fallen narcissist John Edwards, contended ad nauseum that there are two Americas. I contend there are three.  There is the America consisting of those people who are capable of independent thought, for whom the truth is more important than ideology. There is the America consisting of those who actually own and control America, the people to whom the preponderance of wealth is transfered. And there is the America of those mind blinded by “isms” , the oblivious marching minions of group two.  “Keep your hands off my medicare” says the the South Carolina man , terrified of “gummint” health care,  to his congressman.  America, the land of the free to be as pathetically ignorant  as you choose, the land of those souls brave enough to glory in the red glare of their hatred.
