“Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, Thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought is great and swift and free.”
Bertrand Russell
Ellen is a passionate activist for a large disenfranchised demographic being discriminated by those in power.
The Wall Street bubble bust created a financial tsunami that was felt the worst by minorities and the powerless to do anything about it.

Hispanic unemployment rates continue to rise higher than the general population. Some would argue that it’s due to the median education level being so low and the millions of undocumented immigrants. While that may have a bearing, education alone is not a guarantee for job security as Ellen knows firsthand.
If she could Ellen and her friends could organize a national day of protest that would pale the May 1, 2006 protests held in major cities by Hispanics.
If you hear Ellen’s message her ire is against the new generation of profit at all costs corporate leaders who have waged a wholesale propaganda attack. In her mind the point of diplomacy has long passed and the only option is to raise hell to get the attention of politicians, corporate America, and anyone that will listen.
Dr. Ellen Brandt is fighting to be heard so she and her constituents can compete for jobs on a level playing field. She and her followers have branded themsleves as the angriest generation.
Funny how Doctor Brandt and the millions of baby boomers that have been put out to pasture now know what minority groups have known all their life.
The eternal law of compensation is moving the needle in the opposite direction. It is estimated that by the year 2050 my son will be the majority demographic. I am making sure he never loses his color blind acceptance of those different than himself. The trend to pursue higher education is growing for children of immigrants and their descendants assimilated into the American fabric.
All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts…
William Shakespeare, 1600
