They all happily co-exist in the elevated foothills outside Denver – a far cry from Leningrad, where Jim studied Russian for six months. And, yes, he’d go back in a heartbeat.
Although this blog is dedicated to attempting to organize and clarify the ping pong-ish conversation surrounding racism, this business owner is not necessarily convinced shining a light on racism is a good thing. But, if he must name the beast, he believes that is best done through in conversation, relationship and community. Jim’s grown tired of the racism conversation being between the person who can scream the loudest and the person who's most offended. That isn't working; we'll see if this helps.
